I’m an independent Creative Director, Designer and Developmental Coach specialising in projects that attempt to make the world a better place.
I’ve been creating brands and campaigns for over 20 years, most recently as the Creative Director for an acclaimed ‘Do Good’ advertising agency The Republic of Everyone (Sydney).
Over my 6+ years at The Republic of Everyone I helped put pressure on the Australian government to protect the Great Barrier Reef, successfully campaigned to introduce a Carbon Tax (only for Tony Abbott to pull it down), increased green space in urban areas by 20% by 2020 and help Mirvac become one of the most sustainable property developers in the country.
Previous to this, I played a key role in the branding and rollout of large-scale events for EventsNSW including Vivid Sydney, Crave, Vivacity, and Parramasala as well as the international rollout of the 3 Mobile brand.
Whilst always passionate about good design, I’m even more interested in design for good, and the power that good design has in effecting positive change. I hold a 1st Class Degree in Graphic Design, a Masters Degree in Sustainable Architecture and Alternative Energy Studies, a diploma in Permaculture Design and Ecological Footprinting. I’m also a qualified Developmental Coach and Meta-Coach.
I’ve worked internationally for recognised agencies that include Michael Nash Associates (London), Moon Design (Sydney), The WHAM Agency (London), Generation Alliance (Sydney) and The Republic of Everyone (Sydney). My clients have included 3, Orange, Hutchison Whampoa, Sydney Theatre Company, Harvey Nichols, Qantas, Veolia, City of Sydney, City of Parramatta, Greenpeace, Climate Works, WWF, The United Nations.
