Shared Value meets Collective Impact for safer, more connected communities.
IAG’s Shared Value team looks for ways to solve social issues, while also delivering measurable business benefit by reducing insurance claims, developing new products, involving employees and building brand love.
This project helped IAG develop its Shared Value Strategy. From there key issues were defined in the community which could become 'hero' issues.
A survey of over 3,000 employees and customers chose ‘breakdown of community’ as the most pressing. Then a mission was embarked on to find new ways to help people create that 'first hello'.
The result is Good 'Hoods, a national collective impact movement to bring out the good in every 'hood by finding new ways - and old ways - for people to meet, then start working together to create community.
