This cookbook is a showcase of the talents of Henry Harris, the head chef at the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Restaurant in London. The book was designed to compliment the overall Harvey Nichols brand and was shot using 10x8 polaroids by famed photographer Matthew Donaldson. The photography art direction was focussed on capturing the practical no-nonsense style of Henry Harris through showing and celebrating honest imperfections, through half eaten plates of food, broken bottles and worn out work shoes. All these elements helped to explain the philosophy of how Henry approached his food and his life in general. This worked was completed whilst I was a designer at Michael Nash Associates in London.
